This is an extremely rare meduim sized porcelain mug. It was made for the SS Hitler Jugend and dated 1944. This was before the factory was almost completely detroyed by Allied bombing in April of 1945.
The mug shows slight bottom rim wear, typical of some use. However, it has no chips, cracks or stains to it's textured, non-slip finish, made for difficult use conditions.
This artifact was acquired from a Munich estate, along with other SS items. It is absolutely guaranteed to be genuine, and is only the second SS Hitler Jugend porcelain piece we have seen.

This unique artifact is a wonderful compliment to any advanced collection of early Nazi items. It is from the earliest days of the SA, when they were required to supply their own uniform bits and pieces. It is multi-piece, sewn onto a wool band. This excellent example is age faded, but without holes or tears. This example has passed multiple tests and thread examinations. It is a genuine, exceptionally rare, museum quality artifact from an estate auction in Munich.
